Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy drama The Magicians (2015-present). Her previous work was recognized by playing a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun who undergoes tumultuous personal experiences in the context of the U.S. military invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in 2009's film crime drama Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category.
